Add : A pawsome hobbyist.

I identify myself as a Domestic Goddess. There are no pronouns. Just lots of verbs. Clean, manage the house, cook, and feed cats.

The endless domestic duties that reigned me, Her Excellency, in this spartan dwelling. But, of course, receiving the honorable accolade was not for breezing in the park. I earned the crown for holding my fortress well. (Keeping my humility in check by refraining 'astoundingly' in the sentence.)

Juggling between washing the laundry, folding, then ironing some, cooking dinner, cleaning the house, being everyone's butler and chauffer, chasing Chomper around the house, and singing lullabies to Poe became repetitive and exhaustive activities that can overwhelm anyone. Let us be real. The monotony of performing these chores can be physically and mentally draining. Chores are like an endless loop that can never be truly "done." Somehow, there is always more to do.

Fortunately, we live in an era of technological advancement. Brilliant time and cost-saving cleaning tools and gadgets have become true saviors in completing dreaded and strenuous chores, making them physically less demanding. My time spent on household tasks became more tolerable, more so after duties were delegated to unamused occupants. With newfound free time at my disposal, I began binge-watching K-dramas and sitcoms. Indeed, it was enjoyable at first, but it did not resonate well with me. So, on some days, instead of glued to the screen, I opted to take a nap for 'rest and relaxation'.  However, my brain could not fathom the quietness.  Instead, it was noisily generating amusing thoughts, sparking ideas that challenged me to disrupt the familiar normalcy. Ideas to relive my interest and passion and repurpose my free time towards self-accomplishment.

However, those manifested ideas brought upon nostalgic flashbacks.  Should I do it again?  Can I do it again?  Can I succeed this time?  These questions repeated while I brooded over the projected ideas. Images and inspirations racing through my mind like a fast-moving montage.  Feeding my ego sprouting, 'I can do this' and 'I should do this' each time my brain conjured many possibilities. 

Finally, the promise and thrill of new experiences became irresistible.  I envisioned a journey filled with fun, joy, and self-fulfillment. But first, let me throw that 'painful memory' back into its vault and lock it with a forgettable password.

Igniting Creativity: My Nimble Fingers Unleashed

Amidst the dramas of pacifying Poe and Chomper's fights and dealing with domestic chaos, such as what food to put on the table each day, I excitedly created a platform where I could share my hobbies in crafting, sewing, and baking.  Introducing My Nimble Fingers. Where I reignite my passion and rekindle my love for creating through DIY handmade. After all, being an avid handmade hobbyist resonates well with my persona. 

Kicking away all emotional baggage from past experiences, I am awakening my creative mojo. This is a new resolution. This is a new adventure. I am highly excited to start crafting awe-inspiring handmade projects, sewing fabrics into beautiful wear, and baking mouthwatering treats with my nimble fingers.

My treasure trove of crafting supplies (left from yesteryears) is already calling me out for neglecting them too long and waiting for my soulful touch. I heard them. In the other corner stands a tall wardrobe brimming with many colorful and lovely fabrics, some newly bought on a splurging whim (no regrets) and some leftovers from previous projects. All await a new lease of life justifying the beautifully home-sewn garment to its lovely wearer. Ah, the baking frenzy that always evokes warmth and togetherness with the heavenly aromatic scent of freshly baked, delectable, savory treats. Indeed, the exhaustive adjectives illustrate how baking is a haven in my realm, creating the perfect sanctuary in my life.

I am filled with excitement for the adventure that lies ahead, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to enhance and refine my skills and knowledge alongside fellow hobbyists. I am thrilled to bring my inspirations to life and explore the boundless possibilities that my nimble fingers can create.  Every project I create will become a vessel of my self-expression and joy.
